popped in today for what I thought would be a quick drink which quickly turned into Sunday dinner, which I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a drink some excellent food and great service, the pork belly and short rib were perfect especially with the added pigs in blankets and extra Yorkshire puddings! The staff couldn’t of been any more helpful with menu knowledge and recommendations. Checking back and being attentive was very much appreciated! will definitely be returning again to try more of what they have to offer! Thank you for an amazing lunch! -Josh McLaughlin

What can I say about The Bishop to make them sound even better than they already are? We recently had our wedding reception at The Bishop on one of the hottest days of September, during an England Rugby world cup game and an England European Qualifiers. We had a designated team who made it feel like we were their sole priority. The food was impeccable from start to finish. I could not recommend this pub and their team enough. We have been coming to The Bishop for a few years now and they did not disappoint. Our friends and family all felt the same. Best restaurant river side, Excellent service and delicious food! Great staff, well managed! We had a birthday celebration, table was reserved. It's been our third visit in a week as the ambience is great and the staff is pleasant and courteous. Great chef who plated delicious food, portion size just right! And reasonably priced.
